Struggling To Get Going

It's been a while since my last blog entry. My tweeting has slowed down to a crawl. My FitBit lost it's charge, I finally recharged it but have not synced it. As a result of all these little things, I have gained some weight back. 15 lbs to be more exact.
I keep procrastinating posting because I want to have something positive to say, but... it's not happening. So, this post it to admit, I have fallen off my weight loss wagon and am struggling to get back on my journey.

It seems that when I was posting on Facebook, Tweeting, blogging on my SparkPage and my own blog, I was doing a lot better.

Tomorrow I will:
--Weigh myself
--Post my weight
--Log everything I eat, even if I go over my calorie budget.
--Tweet at least twice
--Make one Facebook status post.

Following this post, I will recharge my FitBit and sync it up again. I will also make an effort to get 7 hours of continuous sleep tonight.

My chosen method of exercise is walking. I can do it almost anywhere at almost any time. I have heard of walking referred to as the simplest, easiest, least expensive method of exercise. Least expensive does not mean 100% free. There is no charge to go out and walk around. Walking at the local park is free, but walking at local amusement park is not. Therefore, I will agree, walking can be free but not 100% free. Walking requires I wear shoes. Walking across a bare foot is not for me. Soft grass feels nice but most of the time grass feels like tiny sharp points. It may not be as bad as walking across a floor filled with Legos, but I can't walk on grass for an extended period of time. Walking on a typical street sidewalk is doable, but again, I can not do it for an extended period of time. I need padding otherwise my heal starts to hurt. DVD Rescheduled, Postponed, Delayed.

Jillian Michaels came out with a new DVD. One Week Shred and you could lose up to 7 pounds in 7 days. A seven day commitment?  I can do that! It was to be released March 3rd. Great! I got on line and per-ordered it. My plan was to do the DVD for one week and shed the 7 pounds before I went on my first camping trip with my son and his cub scouts. As I said, that "was" the plan. What happen was something else. The DVD took longer to ship and longer to arrive. The DVD was delivered a few days before my trip. I did not want to risk being sore during the trip, so I decided to start the Monday after our trip. *sigh* We went on our camping trip and had a great time. It was awesome sleeping under the stars and listening to the coyotes howling and the little cubs sounded adorable. The frogs in the creak were very vocal. 2011_0117 Counting Calories at Disneyland

Over the weekend we went to Disneyland. I did not take the tram ride from the parking lot to the main entrance. Instead I decided to walk. The distance from the elevator at the Mickey & Friends Parking Lot to the Check-Point where the trams drop you off is 0.60miles. I brought with me some fresh fruit and some bottles of water, in effort to curve temptation to eat too much junk food. When it was finally time for dinner, I decided I would eat at the Red Rocket Pizza Port in Tomorrow Land. I wanted to enjoy my dinner but not go crazy with the calorie count. The menu board did not have calorie counts, no where obvious where nutritional values posted either. I asked the door greeter where I could find the information. He said to ask anyone behind the counter. Including him, I asked 4 employees in there. Each would point me to the next person until the kitchen was gave me a response.
