Magazine Subscription

So 2 months ago I got clicked to get an offer for a magazine subscription. $5.99 for 10 issues. The offer said I would get my 1st issue in 4-6 weeks. It's been 8 weeks. In those 8 weeks, I have seen the bill electronically twice and once in the mail. I'm wondering if I will ever get my 1st issue. I feel funny about paying for the subscription when I have not even received the 1st issue.

What health, fitness, food, weight loss type of magazines do you subscribe to?

Instead of doing our usual basic Saturday routine, we veered away. Losing weight is something I need to do while still engaged in my everyday world. Entering A New School Year's Chaos

School has started for us again. We are in 1st Grade! Whoo-hooo! I'm happy and sad. Happy we are moving on, growing, ... sad my baby is growing and moving on. *sigh* But I will focus on I'm happy he is growing up happy, healthy, strong, and learning. This year I am volunteering for a number of things. I think I can handle it all since almost everything is done on the same two days each week. Makes it manageable to have a schedule where two days a week I live at my son's school. But I can't neglect my efforts to loose weight. It's been a roller coaster of a first week so I am trying to get a quick handle on it before the scales starts moving in an unwanted direction. I'm checking out the difference between Sparkpeople Coach and Sparkpeople Live. If you know the difference, or used either one, I'd love to hear from you. Nervous Excitement

Oh! My! Goodness! Tomorrow is Monday, August 20th. It is the first day of school for my kids and I am treating it as my 1st day too! Not my 1st day of school but the 1st day in my new chapter in the book of My Health Journey. To prepare myself I decided I need to be more organized. Not perfect, but better than I have been in the past. In doing so, I will be able to be more consistent in planning, scheduling, and managing my time, my health, and my emotions. It may sound weird to mention my emotions, but, yes, my emotions. When I am well prepared, I do not stress out, I do not get tempted to stress eat. When I am well prepared, I able to handle life's hick-ups much more easily.  The little black table on picture on the bottom right is what my desk looked like.
