Reduced Fat Peanut Butter

Country Crock Light Spread was nice because it's lower in calories than regular peanut butter, but I like peanut butter. So I went looking at all the "reduced fat" jars at my local store. This generic brand was the lowest at 110calories per 2Tbsp serving. I used 1Tbsp (55calorirs) and it seemed like a lot for once piece of toast. Tomorrow I will use a little less. As for the taste, it did taste different. But, it was an improved taste, better. It's a keeper.

I think I'm done being sick.

After 10 days of being sick and not watching what I eat and two celebrations, I weighed in and GAINED. But it's a new day, time to resume my weight loss journey.

Limping Along

It's Thursday and I am still stick. I feel better but this darn cough won't leave me along. My voice is back but my hearing is not completely back. This week is just about over and my primarily focus is to get over this illness.

I'm sick

I've been sick the past few days and, I am still sick. A runny nose, itchy eyes, coughing up a lung, and lost my voice for a couple of days. Hope this is over quickly.

This is 14grams (1Tbsp) of Country Crock Light Spread on 1 slice of Roman Meal bread.

Spread on Bread

This is 14grams (1Tbsp) of Country Crock Light Spread actually spread out on 1 slice of Roman Meal bread. For my taste, this layer is too thick. That is good news for me because the less I use, the less calories I consume. Now comes the taste. If does not taste good, then the chances of me using this spread is pretty low. Well, it's a keeper. My tastebuds are liking this buttery flavor.

14grams = 1 Tbsp

This is what 1Tbsp of butter looks like. I put plastic wrap on my scale and measured it out.

Country Crock Light

This is the label on the container of Shedd's Spread Country Crock Light. I can already tell that this butter has half the amount of calories As my peanut butter.

Butter

This morning I am using butter on my toast. Going to find out how much butter I really get to use for 1 Tbsp on a slice of bread. I will use Country Crock Light spread.

Peanut Butter

This morning I weighed in and gained 0.2lbs. This is the 2nd day in a row. Normally I have peanut butter on toast in the morning. The peanut butter we use has 95calories per Tbsp. This morning I will try something different in my toast, butter.

It's JUNE!

It's June, half way through 2011 already? This is a busy month for me, my school term ends this month and summer school starts the same month. My little man graduates from preschool, a big milestone for him and me. As a mother, I am so happy to see him reach these milestones and at the same time am sad to see him grow up so fast. My baby girls will be going into day care one day a week just to give me a breathing break. What I will do in those three long/short hours, I have not totally decided yet. I want to catch up on educational reading, or maybe start the "Couch to 5K" program, or maybe pick up a copy of Jillian Michael's "Master Your Metabolism Cookbook" or the "Unlimited", or sleep, ... like I said, I have not decided yet. Whatever I decided to do, it will not be to catch up on housework. Not that I intend on neglecting it, it will get done as it always is. Whatever I decided to do, those 3 hours once a week have to be spent on improving
