I ran my first 'little' race. It was a 1 mile family fun walk/run this weekend. I ended up jogging most of it at a very easy pace. To my surprise, I made it in 16 minutes. Next year I should be able to run the 5K at an easy pace. Today, it's all about doing laundry and going up and down the stairs as exercise. Looking forward tapping The Biggest Loser tomorrow night and watching it during the day on Wednesday. I found an interesting podcast that claims to be around throughout Season 8 of The Biggest Loser with commentary. Check it out: http://mjmceach.qb1.libsyn.com/index.php?post_category=podcasts. If you end up subscribing to it, let them them know you heard about it here, at Mrs. G's Journey's Blog Spot. Okay, time to get off the computer and take care of a round to potty breaks, snacks, and continue with Laundry Day (a.k.a. Monday).

Biggest Loser Season 8

I tapped The Biggest Loser last night. Today, I watched it with the kiddies. I put the baby in the swing and did some sit-ups. I counted in sets of 5 so my preschooler learns to count. As I came up I kissed my baby's toes. I then started to lift weights, also in counts of 5 and used my preschooler as the weight. Then I put the baby on the floor and did some push-ups. Again, I counted in sets of 5 for my son's benefit on the way up. On the way down, I kissed my baby's tummy. Even though I did not work as hard as I would have in a gym, I did get a work out. The show was 2 hours long and so I did work out semi-continuously for 2 hours.
I went for 1.5 mile walk pushing a double-stroller. It's only one day, but a journey of million miles starts with one step. Today weight: 194.2lbs.
