Pushing Thru A Chaotic Day

Today was a CRAZY day. The intentions were good but things kept happening to discourage my focus. In the end, I am moving through my journey a little slower, but still moving in the right direction.
The morning skies looked cool and offered the promise of a sprinkle or two Little did I know they would yield a large  amount of rain suddenly and in a relatively  short  period  of time. The rest of the day was on and off  sprinkles and rain.

Then the fun began. I took my cat to a heart specialist to find out if his heart is strong enough to be put under to remove a mass/growth from his gumline. While at the specialist, I get a phone call from a number I did not recognize. I let it go to voicemail. There is a moment when I have some downtime waiting in the vet's lobby, so I check my voicemail. It was my bank? The Fraud Department? *sigh* Apparently someone has decided to use my account in Brazil, Massachusetts, and Virginia and rack up A LOT of expenses. No. No. No. Well, needless to say, it was not me. The fact that I was able to walk into a branch office within a short period of time proves I am NOT in Massachuttes checking into a hotel. Got that set straight, filled out paperwork, new cards isssued, ... Not a fun experience, but it went relatively well.

By now I am starting to calm down from the vet visit and the bank ordeal, I am *hungry*. I'm not going to loose my mind but really want to eat. We went to one of my favorite places. I had The Banzai Burger with garlic fries at Red Robin, #Yum.

It was a lot of calories for one meal. My logic was that this meal was for both breakfast and lunch. I also had a planned mini-workout coming my way. That evening I had to go out to friends house and help clean up. I get to shovel some horse droppings into a muck bucket, lift the bucket and dump into a trash can. Do that 4 times and you do start to break out a hint of sweat.

The morning activities still bothered me. Will my cat be ok? Did the bank clear up the matter completely? Lunch, was my logic accurate, or would I be terribly over my caloric budget. What can I do to keep moving in the right direction?

My husband had been contemplating getting a low end Magic Bullet wannabe. I too had been eyeing a similar one. I figured we had a couple of bucks from recycling, plus the cost of his low end item, plus the cost of my low end item, so if we lump it together, ... We got the Magic Bullet Pro. The Magic Bullet website, Best Buy and Target had it for $129.99. We lucked out and found it at Walmart for $99.00. (Walmart.com has it for $99.99).

So now I can make a quick single or double serving of whatever healthy drink I want without having to use the VitaMix which is big; or the blender which has not real power to grind somethins up; and I can drink it strait from the container too! No extra dishes.

I'll be looking for healthy recipes geared toward weight loss, lowering blood pressure, and detoxing first. I've already joing the FaceBook group for the Nutribullet.

It was not a great day, but I did not let the whole day go to waste. I am moving slowly, but still moving in the right direction.
